Waterproof adhesive is a waterproof adhesive, belonging to the midstream product of the building waterproofing materials industry chain. It is commonly used for waterproofing, seepage prevention, and repair of building structures.

The 1992 patent for a plastic-rubber waterproof adhesive (patent number: 92102769) uses coal tar, waste polyvinyl chloride, waste automobile tire rubber powder, and waste engine oil as main raw materials, with the addition of kerosene, lead acetate, dioctyl phthalate, and talc. Its characteristics include high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, high elasticity, and strong adhesion.

The patent for a rigid-flexible composite waterproof sealant with a water-repellent backing surface, published in 2025 (publication number: CN121449371A), comprises, by weight, 400-440 parts white cement, 220-240 parts 40-70 mesh coarse sand, 230-250 parts 80-120 mesh coarse sand, 65-75 parts dispersible adhesive powder, 18-22 parts concrete expansion agent, 20-30 parts titanium dioxide, and 1.5-2.5 parts water-repellent composite agent. This preparation method effectively avoids leakage caused by material shrinkage and cracking, and can be applied in low-temperature environments.
