In rubber bonding processes, traditional methods rely on mechanical sanding-cumbersome, labor-intensive, inconsistent in results, and even prone to damaging the substrate. To address this, we have developed rubber roughing primer R125A/B, specifically designed for difficult-to-bond elastomers such as vulcanized rubber and TPR. The formulation of this system focuses on surface activation and adhesion promotion, precisely tackling the industry-wide challenge of low surface energy in rubber and preparing the substrate surface for optimal bonding. For best results, 1.5–3% additive B powder should be added to the mixed treatment agent. This step not only adjusts viscosity for better application control but also increases the crosslinking density of the treatment layer while enhancing its chemical and heat resistance, thereby ensuring long-term bonding stability.

Product Feature and Application
- Add 2–3% of B powder to R125A, primarily for treating dark-colored rubber. Ensure complete dissolution and homogeneous mixing. For optimal results, the mixed primer should be used within 4 hours.
- After cleaning the shoe material surface, apply this primer evenly using a brush or cloth.
- Drying time: Dry in an oven at 55±5°C for 2–4 minutes before applying adhesive. Apply the adhesive evenly and completely, avoiding insufficient coverage or excessive buildup.
- Avoid using metal containers. Use only plastic or ceramic containers for storage and handling.
