MD EVA Primer EV80F is a specialized primer designed for EVA materials used in footwear, sports equipment, and high-performance technical foam components. Compared with other primers on the market, its most hassle‑free advantage is that it eliminates the need for mechanical sanding and UV or electron‑beam curing. This simplifies production steps, reduces labor costs, and avoids surface damage that sanding or irradiation might cause to delicate foam substrates.

Within the EV80 series, EV80F has a key advantage-it is toluene‑free, making it more compliant with current environmental requirements. Like EV80 in the same series, it effectively activates the EVA surface and promotes adhesion, transforming the originally hard‑to‑bond EVA surface into a stable, ready‑to‑bond state, providing an excellent foundation for subsequent high‑performance adhesives. When applying, simply add 5–10% Hardener F306 as per the recommended ratio. The mixture turns milky white, a clear visual indicator that allows workshop workers to easily confirm proper mixing. For white or light‑colored EVA materials with high color stability requirements, it is better to use 5–10% Hardener F309 for more reliable results.

This primer is compatible with EVA foams produced by various molding processes. In applications such as midsole bonding, insole attachment, and sports equipment assembly-where both material flexibility and sufficient bonding strength are required-using this primer significantly improves bond quality. 1. Before use, add 5–10% hardener (F306) and mix thoroughly. For white materials, please use hardener F309 accordingly.
2. After cleaning the shoe material surface, evenly apply this primer using a brush or cloth.
3. Drying time: Dry in an oven at 55±5°C for 2–4 minutes before applying adhesive. The time between treatment and adhesive application should not exceed 20 minutes.
4. To ensure optimal performance, the mixed primer (with hardener added) should be used within 4 hours.
5. Apply the adhesive evenly and completely, avoiding insufficient coverage or excessive buildup.
